Kimchi Stir-Fried Pasta (Serves 3 - 4 )

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet Asian Home Gourmet Korean Kimchi Stir Fried Rice SpicePaste©
  • 100g (3½ oz) pasta of your choice (cook according to pack instructions)
  • 100g (3½ oz) beef, pork or chicken, thinly sliced
  • 60g (2 oz) carrot, cut into strips
  • 1 green capsicum or bell pepper, cored and cut into strips
  • ½ onion, coarsely chopped
  • 4 dried Chinese mushroom, soaked and cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp lightly roasted white sesame seeds as garnish

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick wok on medium heat. 
  2. Add SpicePaste©, meat, onion, carrot, mushrooms, capsicum or bell pepper; stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Add cooked pasta and stir-fry for 2 minutes.  Garnish and serve hot.
Variation:  You may use mung bean vermicelli or rice noodles instead of pasta
